Users’ Perspective on Best Practices in some Selected College Libraries of Sivasagar and Golaghat Districts of Assam

Abstract

The study focuses on the best practices which are being followed by the general degree college libraries of Golaghat and Sivasagar Districts, Assam. Based on the primary data collection, the result of the study reveals that a lot of best practices have been practicing by the libraries .The attitude of the user community and the library professional towards best practices are positive. There are some common problems found which may hinder in exercising the best practices.
