Use of Journals electronic vs. print by the Agricultural students of the University of Swaziland

The purpose of this paper is to determine the extent to which students at the University of Swaziland faculty of Agriculture are aware and make use of e-journals and the print journals. A survey was designed to collect basic information about the level of use of electronic journals as well as print journals and other factors contributing to an associated with their use. A wellstructured questionnaire was administered among students who come to the library to collect the necessary primary data, keeping in view the objectives of the study. The findings clearly reveal that all the departments in the faculty of agriculture took part in the survey and 84% respondent the questionnaire. 76% of the users are aware of the e-resources and 32% of them use the electronic journals while 23% use the print journals but a number of students used both print and electronic which stands for 43%. Keyword is the most popular search method for searching e-journals among the students. The low bandwidth was one of the major problems that discourage users.
